Kali Ko Cosmetics is a makeup brand that was started in 2019. I specialize in lip and eye products and I refuse to use any harmful chemicals. My name is Desiray, and a native of Detroit Michigan. I am the owner of Kali Ko Cosmetics LLC. As a woman who struggles with hyperpigmentation from acne scars, it became apparent to me there were not enough color options available for women like myself who have darker skin tones or African American women with deeper skin tones.
The colors that did exist were either ashy or made my lips look white on the inside of my lips which definitely isn't cute. Some people are more interested in the aesthetics of their food and some just want it to taste good. I've created an inclusive cosmetic brand for everyone who wants or needs variety, whether they're a fan of cocktails with summer fruits as garnishes or prefer classic breakfast items served all year long because there's no such thing as too much cinnamon!
